It is not about making any happy? It is more about acknowledging the shortcomings of feminist canon and moving forward more inclusively. The same way that it is important to acknowledge that in previous generations, we've left women of color behind in our fight to some degree or another. That doesn't make it a failure, but it is important to be aware and be intersectional.
