I try to have a healthy mixture of both publications and my own road. The effort seemed to be working well, testing the waters, discovering writers, interacting and finding neat takes. Recently, two separate publications had editors with the goofiest suggestions. I don’t know any other word. However, I do think your are on to something with prohibitive membership fees being a factor. I would prefer not to make this space that exclusive.
